Dump everything into a large baking dish and dinner is done! That’s my favorite kind of meal, especially on busy school nights when dinner time is when I feel done for the day.

This easy pizza casserole is a life saver for busy moms and dads on a budget with hangry kids to feed. You can customize it to your liking with a variety of pizza toppings; sometimes we do half pepperoni and peppers for the adults and half cheese and olives for the kids. Either way, it’s super fast to make with hardly any preparation or clean up required.

  • Open up both cans of biscuits and use a pizza cutter or knife to cut them into quarters or small bite size pieces.

  • Evenly place the dough onto the bottom of your prepared dish. Try to assemble them in a single layer, placing any that need to be slightly stacked near the edges of the pan where they bake the quickest.

  • Use a spoon or small spatula to evenly spread the pizza sauce over top and then sprinkle on the shredded mozzarella cheese along with the pizza toppings of your choice.

  • Allow the casserole to cool for at least 5 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you have a small family to feed or just like your pizza really saucy, you can use a single can of biscuits for this recipe.
  • Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in your air fryer.
  • Feel free to add extra flavor with Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, herbs or anything else you'd like.
  • Yummy toppings for this recipe include pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions, basil, spinach, etc. For small leafy greens like spinach, I'd place them under the cheese or mix them into the sauce to prevent them from burning.
